FAQ: Data Release Process

Offers releases data in standardized batches that are individually tested and verified. The Compa team has built world-class infrastructure to ensure anonymity, comply with privacy policies, and validate data before it is published.

Currently, Offers releases new data on a 2-week interval.

Before a new batch of data is distributed into Offers, it is rigorously tested with series of automated validation and anomaly detection checks. After the batch is previewed and its results manually reviewed, the validated data is released.

As new companies join Compa, their offers since Jan 1, 2022 are included in the market data set. When a new batch of market data is published, Offers data will include the historical data of the new companies.

To prevent differential analyses from violating privacy, Compa requires a minimum of three new customers to enter the data set at the same time.
